Listen up! July Megamix out now
Last week, in Scotland at least, it felt like we were suddenly on the cusp of Autumn, a few weeks of August left and the weather suddenly damp and grey, wind whipping up big dark clouds that felt oppressive but kept the fields green, the lochs topped-up for now.
On this Monday morning, I'm listening to the beautiful new Hana Stretton album (once again) and morning sunshine is flooding through the windows. Another heatwave is on the way, and coming north this time too, pushing Summer back to the forefront, dizzying things.
Hana's new album is a magical thing, one of a number of magical things released just last Friday alone, alongside new albums from Memorial, Rowena Wise, Haiver, Margaret Glaspy and more. The songs just keep coming, I mean, in rain or shine.
And so here are a whole load of new songs for you, all wrapped up in a carefully-curated megamix, all of them released at some point in July as either standalone singles or as part of new albums.
