August Megamix out now

Is it Autumn yet? It's beginning to feel like it here. Pulling this new mix together I kept writing 'Autumn' instead of 'August', but really I'm still hoping for one last rush of good weather before the dull sets in. I'm hanging on to the coattails of Summer, seeking out the warm water, keeping Death Cab on the shelf for now.

I realised earlier that t's almost a year ago to the day that I headed over to Cork, Ireland, and to Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival. I remember stepping off the plane right into the first crisp, cold day of a new season, so maybe there's still a chance of a late burst of warm sun.

Today, I'm sat here struggling to remember the last time I was so hooked on just a handful of albums. I'm finding it hard to listen to anything at all aside from the new Lambchop, Elanor Moss, Squirrel Flower, and Hovvdy records. What gems, all of them. But in the gaps between new songs continue to float in. Let's call it a summer breeze; gifts from the end of the season.
